Swiss Dots, Leopard Print, and Graphic Tees

Every Friday, I try to dress a lil extra nice and tell myself it’s Fancy Friday! But really, I just didn’t want to wear pants to work today. Currently, it’s freakin cold out so tights were a must. Whenever I’m feelin lazy, skirts are one of my go-to bottoms because they’re just so dang comfy and freeing (especially when they’ve got an elastic waistband like this one). I’m a huge fan of pattern on pattern right now so I think the swiss dot tights with the leopard print are adorable. When all this is paired with a short heeled bootie… *mwah* it’s the perfect lil winter outfit.

To keep with the pattern on pattern trend I’ve got going, I paired my leopard print skirt with a graphic tee that I got in high school. My best friend Olivia and I were obsessed with the song Ms. Jackson by OutKast at the time and we were also art snobs (lol). So when we found these shirts for sale on Tumblr, we couldn’t resist. It’s still one of my favorite shirts to this day. I loved the song so much that when Chase proposed, I used the lyrics “Forever? Forever ever? Forever ever?” as my Instagram caption to announce our engagement. I added a bold lip color, some funky hoop earrings, and VOILA!

I wore a variation of this outfit while wandering the streets of Paris (because I kinda sorta had an idea I would be getting engaged and thought it was a fitting shirt to wear to celebrate). In a way, clothing holds memory. Wearing this lil number again is taking me back to Versailles with my lover. So to Kate Sanders, I have absolutely NO SHAME being an outfit repeater. In fact, repeating certain outfits brings me so much joy that I would recommend doing so to ANYONE AND EVERYONE. If you have a fun outfit from a special occasion, wear it!
